Why the hell are we bringing the head terrorist that mastermind the the taking down of the WTC buildings to New York?
It makes NO since! Haven't the people of New York been through enough? By bringing these devils to NY, there is a good chance of another attack. Not to mention all of the stress it will put on the fire department, law enforcement and the citizens of NY. They should be tried in a military court at gitmo! The democrats are doing this to try and discredit Bush and the CIA, that's all I can think of. I can't think of any other reason. By bringing them here, they will be intitled to the same protection and defense of our lawyers. The same defense as US citizens get.

We should give them court appointed lawyers. The inner city blacks will tell you that's no defense at all.

The London bombers were tried in a London court. The Madrid bombers were tried in a Spanish court. The Glasgow bombers were tried in a Glasgow court. I dont see any reason why the NY bombers should be kept away with NO trial. It destroys justice. Justice should be done, and done soon.

I think the problem with the NY bombers...like with the bombers in London, Madrid, and Glasgow...will probably be unable to recieve a fair trial. Yes, it's a jury of their peers...but there is NO WAY it will be an impartial jury. Too many deep wounds. I agree, give them a trial...they are not combatants, they are terrorists. They deserve to be tried in a court of law. But I don't think it should be done in New York. It opens the door too wide for appeal.

I'm pretty sure there are lots of lawyers in hell. Send them down there for trial.
