A Funeral
I guess I should at least send some flowers, since I'll be unable to attend any funeral services. I knew the deceased well. We laughed and played together and had many of the same friends. In fact, it was through the deceased that I met a few of my friends. And now, with this death, my other friends and I have seemed to have lost contact. Sigh... tis the way of things I guess.
The deceased isn't really a person, it's a forum. Its name is BlabTalk. And I'm pretty sure it passed away because no one seems to post on it any more. I just want you to know that I check in occasionally to see if any of my friends return. I miss you all and hope you are all doing well. |

RE: A Funeral
Your faithful admin his here, sitting with BlabTalk in ICU. I know we're on "life support", but we can't give up on the patient, still a faint heartbeat. I just have been a little tied up on other web projects to re-start my advertising of BT. Where the heck did everybody go so fast CMP? I miss the two British lads...and Welshy, wish he would signup and try and ruffle some feathers. And what happened to Fishy? Probably busy with the new minnow I guess. Well, thanks for checking in, I will try and drum up some new business soon my friend. Hows things going in the Potato state? How bout the horrible news out of Ft. Hood...
I know, off to the "In The News Today" or "Military-Defense" forum. Heading over there now. |

RE: A Funeral
My post, if you know me, was tongue in cheek. (Not a good place to store your tongue by the way because of the prevalence of tongue bites.) But I do lament the poor showing of posters here. I've tried to add things from time to time but I guess I just get discouraged with the lack of response. I know Angina and Larry are still here and Welshy occasionally peeks in to check the religious foru. But, like you, I miss Michael and Fishy.
Perhaps I'll just post some porn pics and try to attract a new class of posters - those who cruise the internet like it was a game with one hand on their joy stick.

RE: A Funeral
Heay,
I'm here too guys! My computer went kupput a month or so back and I finally broke down and bought another. The wife was saying we didn't need another computer, but I like to visit the Drudge Report, so I told her we're getting another computer so I can get my Drudge fix. Hope to see you all around and I will be posting soon. Where's Mr. Fish and Angina and Michael? Hope they didn't leave us for another message board! |

CMP. angina does not view porn.. Angina makes it. |
